WEFL Match Rules

Follow these easy match rules and we will have no issues.

General Match Rules:

1- If you fail to appear for a fight without any previous advanced warning then you will be given a yellow card in the division you missed your fight in. Read the Yellow card system to better understand it (https://wefl.canadian-forum.com/wefl-rules-f3/yellow-card-system-t9.htm)
2- Setting up a date and time to get your fight done is important. You must contact your opponent to set up a fight, should you fail to respond to your opponent trying to set up the fight within 48 hours, you will be removed from the fight and given a yellow card and your opponent will be given a new opponent.
3- Lag has always been an issue when fighting online. Many different sites have different rules and outlooks on this and I feel that should your fight experience any lag then you must leave the fight by 1:00 in the first round. Contact me afterwards and we will sort out the fight. If there is a dispute in both parties as to how bad the lag was then you will have to do the fight anyway. If both parties agree that there was a considerable amount of lag then we will try and set up a new fight, or at least figure out something.
4- To ensure that your claim of a cheater or rule breaker is accurate, VIDEO TAPE your fights..it is not cool to just accuse someone of something without some sort of proof.
5- Posting Results..this is another big thing for us, post your results in detail as best you can, not just "I won my fight". we would like to see round, time, and method at least. Not looking for a complete play by play. The winner of the fight should always be the one to post. Please take the time to post your results..the quicker you get results posted the quicker we can get the next fight card set up.

WEFL UFC Championship Match Rules:

1- All fights are best of 1 with 3 rounds.
2- Championship fights are best of 1 with 5 rounds.
3- Should a fight card have a catchweight or superfight on it these rules will be implemented:
a) Catchweight - The weightclass will be determined by the fighter who's name appears first. The opponent must the choose a fighter as close to his opponents rating without going over. A catchweight fight will be 3 rounds.
b) Superfight - A super fight will only happen when there be a champion vs champion fight. The same fighter selection process is the same as a catchweight fight except the superfight will be 5 rounds as it is a championship fight.
4- Number 1 contender fights will be best of 1 with 5 rounds.
5- No exploits, sub stopping, spamming, reseting of any kind or any other stuff that may be considered cheating. It will not be allowed anywhere else and won't be allowed here! The best form of proof for catching someone cheating is to record your fights, there are many ways to do this. If you stop a sub you must stand right up and allow your opponent to stand. If you go in for a sub intend to finish the sub or sub switch, no matter if you messed it up and will end up in a bad position.

WEFL UFC K1 Match Rules:

1- All fights are best of 1 with 3 rounds.
2- Championship fights are best of 1 with 5 rounds.
3- Number 1 contender fights are best of 1 with 5 rounds.
4- Takedowns, or clinching of any kind is illegal. If you accidentally take your opponent down stand right up, step back and let your opponent up and then touch gloves, for an accidental clinch, do not strike in the clinch at all let go immediatly and then touch gloves.

WEFL UFC Undisputed Boxing Federation Match Rules:

1- All fights are best of 1 with 3 rounds.
2- Championship fights are best of 1 with 5 rounds.
3- Number One contender fights are best of 1 with 5 rounds.
4- This is a boxing division. It is pretty straightforward as boxing is only punching. Elbows are allowed (in moderation) as they can be hard to control. No clinching/takedowns of any kind. If you accidentally take your opponent down stand right up, step back and let your opponent up and then touch gloves, for an accidental clinch, do not strike in the clinch at all let go immediatly and then touch gloves.

WEFL UFC Fight Club Match Rules:

1- All Fights are best of 1 with 3 rounds.
2- Opponents must agree to a weightclass prior to the fight taking place. Once in the fighter selection lobby both opponents must select Random.
3- Should you get kicked from the server both opponents must select the fighters given to them from the previous fight.

when u say sub stopping, u mean sub stalling??

Basically anything with a sub that would have you stop to gain a better position and any sort of sub exploit that would be illegal on most other leagues.

Basically, finish all subs you start w/o stall.
